MyCard Photo Card FAQ


In addition to our traditional Consumer, HSA and Business debit cards, we now feature:

What if I have an existing American Chartered Bank Visa Debit Card?

In order to receive your new Photo Card, you will need to Apply Online first. When you receive the new Photo Debit Card in the mail, you will actually receive a new card number and PIN.

What will happen to my existing American Chartered Bank Visa Debit Card?

Your existing card will be closed 30 days after your new Photo Debit Card is ordered.

What if I pay a recurring bill using my debit card?

When your new card arrives, contact the vendor who initiates the bill payment and switch the transaction over. All new Photo Cards come with a new card number, three-digit security code and PIN.

What if I recently ordered a photo card at an American Chartered Bank branch?

From the card card selection page select Upload Image, and continue to the card creation tool. You will have 3- calendar days from the time your card order was placed to upload or choose your design. If more than 30 days have passed from your initial order date, select Order Now to start the process over again.

Re-issued Cards

Re-issued cards consist of two types, Lost/Stolen or Replacement Cards.

If I lose my card or it is stolen, what should I do?
1.  Report it immediately. Call 847-407-2300 during normal business hours, or 1-800-554-8969 after hours.
2.  Click the Order Now button and submit a new card application indicating it is for a replacement card. 
3.  Recreate your Photo Debit Card in the card creation tool.

If my card becomes damaged or my name changes, what should I do?
1.  Click the Order Now button and submit a new card application indicating it is for a name change or damaged card.
2.  Choose to keep the same image or upload a new one in the card creation tool.

What is the cost?

The photo debit card fee is just $5.00, which gets charged any time you create a card with a new image. Cards that are re-issued using the same image on file will not be charged the photo card fee. The amount will be deducted from your checking account after the card order is placed.

What types of images are accepted?

American Chartered Bank and its vendor partners reserve the right to determine whether a submitted image will be accepted. See Image Guidelines for more information. We will notify you if your image quality is not accepted.
