The most important day-to-day banking function for each of our commercial banking clients is their commercial checking account. We recognize that our ability to flawlessly execute this function for our clients is critical to their success.

Our portfolio of flexible, easy-to-access, and cost-effective services reflects the American Chartered Bank philosophy, which is to provide services that help our clients operate efficiently, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.

Accounts receive credit for balances maintained to offset routine service fees. The value of balances is calculated by multiplying the monthly average collected balance, adjusted for the Bank’s reserve requirement, by the earnings credit rate in effect on the last day of that month. Interest is charged on daily negative collected balances.

Unlike many other banks, American Chartered Bank does not charge for FDIC insurance expense.
