Person to Person Payments Through Bill Pay

You can now use American Chartered Bank’s Bill Pay service to make person-to-person payments online. Online payments will allow you to send money to pay for various activities. You can send money to a family member as a gift or pay a friend back for dinner, a movie or sports tickets.

There are two types of person to person payments, PayPal and Electronic Transfers (A2A). Use PayPal when you want to send money instantly using only the recipient’s email address or mobile phone number. Use an Electronic Transfer when you want to send money using the recipient’s bank account and routing numbers.

PayPal Payment Features:

PayPal allows you to send money internationally to 190 countries in 24 currencies.
Payments to a recipient's PayPal account are made instantaneously and in real time.
Payment is confirmed with the recipient by email, along with the details on how to claim the payment.
Easily keep track of your payments in your bill pay home screen.
All you need is the recipient’s email address to make your PayPal payment.

A2A Payment Features:

Send money directly to another bank account.
It’s faster and safer than writing and sending a check.
Easily keep track of your payments in your bill pay home screen.
All you need is the receiver’s account and routing number.
